Wealth Building & Income Update – November 2017

Hey Gang,

Christmas is fast approaching, it’s the season of gifts and sharing.

My favourite gift to receive is dividends. I truly love being paid just to hold on to shares in a company.

Dividends came in from Apple (£2.43) and Morrisons (£3.62).

Fun fact: last year, with the same amount of shares, Apple paid me £1.93 and Morrisons paid me £3.44.

Let’s hope the dividend continues to trend upwards even if it is in small increments!

Rate Setter and Property Partner continue to put numbers on the board and I even had my first payment from the corporate bond provider, Wise Alpha.

As you can see, another nice month of growth, especially on the crypto front! I wrote about my experience with bitcoin here.

I’ve stepped onto the Assetz Capital platform in search of sweet income via p2p loans. Apparently, it’s “…where people come to take control of their finances and make their money work for them.” I like the sound of that!

Stock buys in November:
-BT (60 shares @ £2.44 each)
-GlaxoSmithKline (15 @ £12.97 each)
-National Grid (25 @ £8.78 each)

These are all solid dividend stocks which I will be happy to hold for many years to come.

Within the coming months, I hope to add Microsoft and Nvidia to the portfolio – do you have either of these in your portfolio? if so let me know how they have performed for you…!
